“Ability to mark on a plan where the photo is taken” — #1 voted feature request
14,000+
engineering firms in the UK still match photos to drawings by hand
How It Works
From messy site photos to a shareable, location-aware 360° report — in minutes.
Upload Your Floor Plan
Drag and drop any PDF floor plan, site map, or building layout. We support multi-page PDFs up to 50MB — no conversion needed.
Drop Markers Anywhere
Click directly on the floor plan to place inspection markers. Each pin represents a location you've documented.
Attach 360° Photos
Upload 360° panoramic images from any consumer camera or phone. View them directly in the browser — no app install needed.
Share With Your Team
Generate a share link your clients and colleagues can view without logging in. Export a full inspection report in one click.

Pin defects inside your 360° photos
Walk into a room, take a 360° photo, and pin every finding directly onto the image. No spreadsheets, no scribbled prints.
- 1
Pin directly in 360°
Click anywhere in the panorama to drop a marker. It stays anchored in 3D space — pan, zoom, and it tracks perfectly.
- 2
Label with severity
Add a name, severity level, and notes to every pin. Water ingress, cracking, ponding — document exactly what you see.
- 3
Click a thumbnail, jump to the defect
Every pin gets a thumbnail strip. Click one and the panorama auto-pans straight to the marker — no hunting.
I was the engineer with 2,000 unorganised site photos
I'm Kyle — a structural engineering technician manager in the UK. Every week I'd come back from site inspections with hundreds of photos buried in folders labelled things like “Site Visit 14 — Feb.”
Matching photos to locations meant cross-referencing drawings, scribbled notes, and hoping someone remembered which beam was which. Half the time we'd end up going back to site because a photo was missing context.
Matterport and the big scanning platforms wanted £10k+ per projectand specialist hardware. That's fine for big developers — but most engineering firms don't have that budget.
So I built pin360: upload the PDF floor plan you already have, pin 360° photos from a consumer camera, share a link. That's it. No scanning rigs. No training. Five minutes from site photos to shared report.

How pin360 compares to the alternatives
Enterprise scanning platforms charge tens of thousands. Spreadsheets are free but painful. pin360 is the middle ground that actually works.

No. pin360 works with normal phone photos too — just pin them to your floor plan like any other image. 360° cameras (Insta360, Ricoh Theta, GoPro Max) give you the full-room view, but a phone photo of a crack or a defect works just as well. Most teams use both.
PDF annotations are static — you can circle a spot and attach a photo reference, but you can't step inside the space. pin360 lets you click a pin on the floor plan and open the actual photo (or 360° panorama) taken from that exact location. And when you share a link, your client or team can navigate the whole site without any software installed.
pin360 isn't a replacement for point cloud scanning — it's for the 90% of site visits that don't justify specialist hardware. Most firms use both: Matterport for landmark projects, pin360 for everyday condition surveys and inspections.
Static PDF annotations can't embed a 360° viewer. And they break when photos are updated. pin360 keeps your panoramas live and navigable — click a pin, step inside the space.
If they can use Google Maps, they can use pin360. Upload a drawing, drop a pin, attach a photo. Most teams are documenting their first project within 5 minutes.
Files are stored on Cloudflare R2 with access controlled per project. Share links are read-only and can be revoked at any time. We don't sell or share your data.
