Proof you can inspect

Open the same evidence record a client would see.

The sample project is the live pin360 share workflow. Start with the plan, open the evidence pins, and see how photos, 360 views, finding context, and comments stay tied to exact locations.

Live sample project

Follow the workflow in the real app.

The demo opens a real shared pin360 project: a floor plan, clickable evidence pins, attached photos, 360 views, and finding context in one read-only view.

  • Pan and zoom the PDF floor plan
  • Click a marker to open a 360 panorama or site photo
  • Check the read-only evidence view without signing up

Field-led product

Founder Kyle Greig works in UK structural engineering and BIM, so the workflow starts from drawings, site photos, client questions, and handover evidence.

Test with your own drawing

Create a free project without a card. Every rolling 30 days, add up to three plans and 20 photos or findings; existing work stays accessible.

Real share workflow

The demo opens the same read-only project link a client would receive, with the floor plan, pins, photos, and 360 views in one place.

Practical data handling

Photos, PDFs, and scans are stored in Cloudflare R2, with access controlled through pin360 projects and share permissions.

Decisions, not data dumps

From file dump to a record people can decide from.

Folders store scans. pin360 ties every photo, 360°, and finding to the drawing so people who were not on site can still act — then come back next month on the same plan as the record grows with the building.

Before

Scattered evidence

  • Photos in folders, WhatsApp, camera rolls, and email threads
  • PDF markups that point to evidence stored somewhere else
  • Clients asking which room, wall, beam, or defect a photo shows
  • Return visits caused by missing context, not missing effort

After

Location-tied record

  • One drawing-based record for photos, 360s, scans, notes, and defects
  • Clickable pins that open the exact evidence captured at that location
  • Comments and decisions kept beside the finding they belong to
  • A browser link stakeholders can follow — no Recap, Navisworks, or client seat

Plan → Pin → Review → Resolve → Share

A site record people can follow.

Turn PDF drawings and field photos into a location-aware evidence chain without changing how your team captures site information.

1

Upload the drawing

Start with the PDF floor plan, site map, or building layout your team already uses. No new drawing format required.

2

Pin the evidence

Drop normal photos, 360° panoramas, scan views, notes, and findings at the exact place they belong.

3

Answer in context

Clients, consultants, and facilities teams discuss the marker itself instead of chasing context through email threads.

4

Close the loop

Reply with supporting evidence, mark the discussion resolved, and keep the decision trail beside the finding.

5

Share the record

Send a read-only link stakeholders can follow without reconstructing the site visit from loose files.

See it in action

Click from plan to evidence in seconds.

The demo shows the simple loop: PDF floor plan, location pin, attached site media, review context, and one shareable project record.

  • 1

    Start from the drawing

Open the PDF plan your team already uses and choose the place where evidence was captured.

  • 2

    Open the attached evidence

Jump from the pin to the 360 view, normal photo, note, comment, or finding tied to that location.

  • 3

    Share the record

Send a read-only link so a client, contractor, or colleague can follow the evidence without searching folders.

Jobs, not job titles

Four jobs people run on the plan.

The situation is the same every time. Hundreds of 360 photos, a PDF plan you already have, and someone who has to understand the site without walking it.

Survey and as-built teams

Capture the building in 360 alongside the drawings, model or measured data, so every figure has visual context at the right place on the plan.

As-built questions answered from the plan instead of booking a return visit.

FF&E and estate audits

Record legacy furniture, fittings and equipment room by room for a relocation or an estate-wide audit, pinned where each item stands.

A room-by-room visual record the whole team can count from without opening a folder.

Condition and handover records

Photograph the condition of a site before and after works, with the whole 360 set pinned to the plan and findings attached where they matter.

A dated photographic record that is easier to check than a drive full of images.

Client review in a browser

Send one link. The client or a colleague opens the plan, clicks a capture point and looks around, with no account and no install.

The whole site reviewed remotely, in the browser they already have open.

Where pin360 fits against the tools you already know

If you do not have a use case, a digital twin will not help. Matterport and OpenSpace are powerful capture platforms. Bluebeam is excellent for drawing markup. Dropbox stores files. pin360 is the lightweight layer when the job is site evidence people can decide from — tied to your drawings, in a browser, without a client software seat.

Organizing 360s on a plan

This is buyer positioning, not a feature-by-feature certification. Use the specialist tools where they are the right fit; use pin360 when the job is practical site evidence tied to drawings.

Why I built this

I was the engineer with 2,000 unorganized site photos

I’m Kyle — a structural engineering technician manager in the UK. Every week I’d come back from site inspections with hundreds of photos, with no practical way to keep them organized beyond folders labeled things like “Site Visit 14 — Feb.”

Matching photos to locations meant cross-referencing drawings, scribbled notes, and hoping someone remembered which beam was which. Half the time we’d end up going back to site because a photo was missing context.

Matterport, OpenSpace, and the big capture platforms have their place, but they can be too heavy for everyday surveys, condition records, and handover evidence that simply needs to stay tied to a drawing.

So I built pin360: upload the PDF floor plan you already have, pin photos, 360°s, scans, notes, and findings, then share one link. That’s it. No new drawing standard. No folder archaeology. Five minutes from site photos to a record someone else can follow.

Kyle Greig works in UK structural engineering and BIM, so pin360 starts from PDF drawings and site photos rather than from a capture platform. It is built for small survey, capture and audit teams with a live job to document.

3D site records

Walk the building in a browser — no scanner required.

Upload a LiDAR / gaussian splat scan yourself, or ask us to arrange capture. Either way you get a shareable walkthrough with pins, measurements, and equipment context — built for decisions, not another archive of unused scan data.

01

Tell us about your site

Two minutes on the enquiry form. Location, size, and what you need the record for.

02

We arrange the capture

An approved UK operator scans your site with handheld LiDAR, typically under a day on site.

03

Your record goes live

A walkable 3D scene with measurements and 360° imagery, delivered as a browser link within days.

FAQ

Questions teams ask before leaving Matterport folders behind

Straight answers on Matterport, gaussian splats, SLAM, scanners, and whether pin360 is another tour tool or a site evidence record.

Matterport is excellent at immersive tours. Most engineering and FM teams still lose the argument when a client asks “where on the drawing is this?” or “show me severity and history for that asset.” pin360 starts from your PDF plans and the 360s pinned on them, then adds a walkable 3D site record when you need it — same markers, same share link, public pricing, and no Matterport Pro camera or closed hosting. Many teams keep Matterport for sales or landmark marketing captures; they switch everyday surveys, dilapidations, snagging, and plant-room records to pin360 because that is the job Matterport was never built for.
